Katie Rogers is a certified feng shui consultant and a Red Ribbon Professional Member of the International Feng Shui Guild. She was certified through the Feng Shui Training Center in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2004, where she studied under Sharon Stasney in the Tibetan Black Hat practice of feng shui.
Katie is also a Reiki Master and an ongoing student of yoga. She invented the Color Readings, a form of divination using color theory, psychology, the intuition, and the feng shui bagua. She has been a featured speaker at various wellness festivals and events and taught workshops all over the USA. She also designed the Do-It-Yourself Feng Shui Kits and is currently creating a portfolio of feng shui based artwork.
On a personal note, Katie grew up in Mobile, Alabama and graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with a major in English Literature. From there, she satiated her wanderlust by living in the Bahamas; Austin, TX; Jackson Hole, WY; Kauai, Hawaii; and Sun Valley, ID. She resided in Los Angeles, California for several years before returning to her home state where she currently lives.
Besides practicing feng shui, she has also found work as a writer and ghostwriter; a mural painter; an artist; a Forestry Manager at the non-profit organization, TreePeople; a production assistant at an animation house; an editor; a story analyst; and a preschool teacher.
She loves the outdoors, movies, reading, and exploring in general. She is the mother of a precious little girl and is finding motherhood to be one of the greatest adventures a woman could enjoy!
